With the addition of the new Night Video mode and the industry’s first triple AI chipset, the X5 offers exceptional low-light performance. Intelligent noise reduction and brightness optimisation work seamlessly to reproduce stunning night scenes, allowing you to capture every subtle detail, even in the darkest conditions.

The newly introduced InstaFrame mode allows users to simultaneously capture standard flat video for instant sharing alongside full 360° content, making content creation more flexible and social media-friendly. Paired with Insta360’s iconic Invisible Selfie Stick technology, the X5 produces stunning third-person perspectives reminiscent of drone footage—completely removing the selfie stick from view for cinematic, immersive action shots.

Engineered for extreme environments and heavy-duty use, the X5 features a reinforced lens design with interchangeable lenses. The lens surface is coated with a next-generation ultra-hard diamond optical layer, offering double the scratch and impact resistance compared to its predecessor. The Insta360 X5 also delivers significant upgrades in audio and stabilisation. A multi-layer steel mesh windscreen and intelligent noise reduction algorithms effectively eliminate wind noise, ensuring clear, high-quality audio even in outdoor settings. The camera features FlowState stabilisation and 360° horizon levelling, housed in a waterproof body rated up to 15 metres, making it ideal for surfing, diving, skiing, and more—all with steady, professional-grade footage.

When it comes to battery life, the X5 is built with a large-capacity 2400mAh battery offering up to 185 minutes of runtime. It also supports fast charging, reaching 80% in just 20 minutes, so you’re always ready to capture the next adventure.

The X5 also supports 4K 60fps wide-angle recording, and in FreeFrame mode, users can unlock an ultra-wide 170° field of view at 4K 30fps, delivering a more immersive and dynamic perspective. With up to 72MP panoramic photo capture, every shot is packed with detail—making every moment fully immersive, whether you're shooting or watching it back.
