RED Digital Cinema KOMODO-X™ is the next generation in the KOMODO series, breaking new ground by doubling the frame rate, dynamic range and usability of the original KOMODO. The KOMODO-X features the same sized 6K S35 global shutter sensor as the KOMODO, but with a completely new redesign and key architectural improvements. Improved shadow detail and color, combined with doubled frame rates in 6K 80P and 4K 120P, make KOMODO-X an even more powerful creative tool. KOMODO-X now shares many features with the DSMC3™ series, while still maintaining the impressive KOMODO form factor. An integrated Micro V-Lock allows direct connection of professional Micro V-Lock batteries without adapters, and is also compatible with upcoming RED Pro I/O modules for auxiliary power and is compatible with full size V-Lock and Gold Mount batteries.
