Portkeys BM5IV Introduction

Portkeys BM5IV is a lightweight and durable 5.5-inch colour wide-image monitor with up to 2000 nits brightness, allowing users to see the image clearly in all lighting conditions. This monitor features a 1920 x 1080 10-bit (8+2 FRC) panel with a 1000:1 contrast ratio for excellent colour performance. It has multiple video input and output ports, including 1 4K60P HDMI input, 1 3G-SDI input, 1 4K60P HDMI output and 1 3G-SDI output, and supports cross conversion, making it convenient for users to connect multiple devices.

BM5IV runs the CINENORM OS system, supports up to 7 custom pages, and provides professional monitoring tools such as waveform, vectorscope, peak display and ARRI false colour to help users control picture quality more accurately. In addition, it also supports 3D LUT monitoring and SDI output functions, and has split-screen monitoring capabilities, allowing users to choose multiple display modes such as PBP, PIP and H2V to meet different needs.

The monitor is factory colour calibrated, and users can also create their own 3D calibration LUTs using an X-Rite color probe. It supports wired control of a wide range of cameras, including RED, Sony, Canon, Panasonic, BMD and ZCAM E2, and can be wired controlled with the TILTA Nucleus N/M wireless focus system. The BM5IV has a built-in Sony NP-F battery holder and is equipped with a 4-pin 7.4V-24V external power input (with D-Tap cable) to ensure long-term use. Overall, this aluminum alloy monitor weighs only 358g and is ideal for professional video producers, providing excellent performance and flexible control functions.
